The Paloma is a dream of a summer maxi, effortlessly elegant with its halterneck, dramatic A-line skirt and simple belt that cinches the waist just so. Equally at home on the beach or dressed up for an evening out, Paloma transforms beautifully with a quick change of accessories. Large cutaway patch pockets keep things practical (phone, sun cream, you name it), while the tie-back neckline means there are no tricky fastenings to worry about.
The pattern also includes the option to make a simple, full skirt version, a quick, satisfying project that’s ideal for advanced beginners ready for their next step.
Suggested Fabrics: Sew it up in cool linen for easy summer style, or go classic with chambray. Paloma shines in fabrics with a little structure like African wax or broderie anglaise, but can also take on a fluid, swishy feel in lighter drapey fabrics, just interface the pockets or leave them off if you prefer.
