This is a PDF Sewing Pattern which you will need to print.
Looking for an easy pair of trousers with a little more character than your everyday elasticated-waist style? The Emile Trousers are a comfortable and contemporary design with a choice of straight or barrel legs, clever seam detailing and a relaxed 7/8 length.
Designed with confident beginners in mind, Emile is straightforward to sew while still giving you plenty of lovely details to get stuck into. A vertical seam runs down the front of each leg, creating a clean, structured look, while practical pockets are neatly incorporated between this seam and the side seam.
Choose the straight leg for an easy, streamlined silhouette or opt for the gently shaped barrel leg for a more contemporary feel. The elasticated waistband keeps things wonderfully comfortable and makes Emile a great introduction to trouser making without the need to tackle a zip or more complicated fastening.
The pattern is drafted with a mid-rise waist for Size Range 1 and a high-rise waist for Size Range 2.
Pattern Sizes: EU 32–64, available in two size ranges: 32–48 and 48–64.
Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium-weight stable woven fabrics of approximately 120–220gsm. Cotton poplin, chambray, lightweight denim, lightweight corduroy, linen/Tencel blends and cotton/Tencel blends are all lovely choices. Avoid very fluid or slippery fabrics as these may not hold the shape of the trousers and can be more challenging to sew.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
