A wonderfully useful pattern for everyday making, this classic T-shirt is designed with a relaxed unisex fit for both children and adults. With options for short, elbow-length or full-length sleeves, it’s the kind of pattern you’ll come back to again and again for simple, comfortable wardrobe staples.
The neckline can be finished with a ribbed neckband for a traditional T-shirt look, or with a clean neck facing for a more refined finish. For even more versatility, a skirt can be added to transform it into an easy, comfortable T-shirt dress, perfect for relaxed everyday wear.
Designed for jersey fabrics, this pattern works beautifully in cotton jersey, viscose jersey, interlock and other soft stretch fabrics. You’ll also need rib fabric for the neckline, unless you choose the faced neckline option.

Additional fabric for elbow-length sleeves: For sizes XS-3XL, add 0.2m of fabric for both fabric widths.
Additional fabric for long sleeves: For children’s sizes, add 0.2m only if using 110-120cm wide fabric. For sizes XS-3XL, add 0.3m of fabric for both fabric widths.
Additional fabric for T-shirt dress: This will depend on your preferred waistline placement and skirt length. For children’s sizes, add 0.9m of fabric for both fabric widths. For sizes XS-3XL, add 1.6m of fabric if using 140-150cm wide fabric. The adult skirt is not suitable for 110-120cm wide fabric.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
