Soft blue and creamy white make a lovely combination in this playful Japanese cotton from Sevenberry. Scattered across the blue background are irregular painted spots, each with slightly imperfect edges that give the print a relaxed, hand-drawn feel.
The fabric itself is just as appealing as the print. A rippled seersucker texture runs across the surface, creating a gently crinkled finish that gives the cloth plenty of character. Lightweight at 110gsm and made from pure cotton, it feels soft, breathable and easy to wear.
Try it for breezy dresses, gathered skirts, loose-fitting tops, shirts, pyjamas or relaxed trousers. The texture means simple patterns work particularly well, with very little needed to make the finished garment feel special.
