Description
The Taimi is a beautifully simple pattern with two easy-to-wear options – a relaxed top and a flowing ankle-length dress. Both versions have a clean, sleeveless shape with a round neckline, neatly bound neck and armholes and plenty of soft volume through the gathered lower section.
The top finishes around hip length and dips slightly lower at the back, making it lovely worn loose over trousers or tucked into a favourite pair of jeans. The dress has a gently curved waist seam and a wonderfully full, gathered skirt that falls to the ankle, complete with useful in-seam pockets.
Fabric choice can really change the feel of Taimi. Choose something soft and drapey for a floaty, fluid silhouette, or a crisper cotton or linen to make more of the gathered shape.
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight to medium-weight non-stretch woven fabrics such as linen, cotton lawn, poplin, chambray, viscose, rayon or lightweight denim.

The neckline and armholes can be finished with binding cut from your main fabric or with ready-made bias binding. Choose the appropriate table below depending on which finish you plan to use.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
