Description
The Harlene Dungarees are a relaxed, traditional pair of dungarees designed with an easy, oversized fit. A hard-working wardrobe staple, they feature classic dungaree detailing with optional topstitching for a more workwear-inspired finish.
The fit is intentionally roomy, so there is plenty of ease through the body and enough space for layering underneath. Choose your size using the body measurements below, bearing in mind that the finished garment is designed to be oversized.
Sizing:
This is a multi-size paper pattern including UK sizes 6–18. The UK 18–28 version is available separately.
Suggested Fabrics:
Medium-weight woven fabrics such as 8–11oz denim, cotton canvas, cotton drill, corduroy and yarn-dyed linen. If you are using a particularly thick fabric, you may prefer to cut the waistband, button fly and facing pieces from a lighter-weight fabric to reduce bulk.
You will also need:
- Matching thread
- Contrasting topstitching thread, optional
- 2 x 40mm dungaree clips
- 2 x 40mm adjustable sliders
- 6 x 15mm hammer-on or sew-on buttons
- 50cm of lining fabric for the pocket, fly and waist facing
If your main fabric is light to medium weight, you can use the same fabric for the fly and waist facing.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
