The Ziggy Skirt is a playful three-quarter circle skirt that's perfect for making the most of a favourite striped fabric. Cleverly divided into panels, the stripes meet to create a striking chevron effect at four seams – two at the front and two at the back.
Generous in-seam pockets are tucked neatly into the side panels, while a wide elasticated waistband makes Ziggy comfortable and easy to wear. A deep hem panel changes the direction of the stripes again, adding to the lovely geometric effect.
Of course, you don't have to use stripes. Ziggy works beautifully in plain fabrics too, where the panelled construction and sweeping shape really come into their own. An easy-to-wear skirt with just enough clever construction to keep things interesting.
Suggested Fabrics: Cotton poplin or similar tightly woven light to medium-weight fabrics without too much drape. Stripes are perfect for showing off the clever panel construction, but plain fabrics work beautifully too.
