This beautiful set of glass-head pins enclosed in a compact cherry-wood box is the ultimate combination of functionality and elegance. The cherry-wood box (measuring 5.3cm length x 3.8cm width x 1.8cm height) was handcrafted by Daiwa Sangyo.
Pins are supple yet durable and are manufactured in Hiroshima, a city with a 300-year history of high-quality needle production. Rigorous quality control ensures unified thickness and length of pins and their ability to pierce cloth with ease. A button made from the shell of the pearl oyster decorates the clasp.
The sewing pins are made from nickel-plated steel in Hiroshima, they are strong but flexible and pierce cloth easily. They are 35mm long and 0.5mm thick. The glass heads have a diameter of 2mm. The set contains 30 glass-head pins in two different colour-coordinated shades: 15 x translucent and 15 x opaque.
